Kolkata: The crisp winter weather in India is time to celebrate many literary events. The country's cultural hub Kolkata was not behind when on a December morning, the city-based Prabha Khaitan Foundation (PKF) hosted a cherishing literary session with renowned scholar-theatre artist Dr Sachchidanand Joshi bringing together some of the bright minds. 

Lucknow: Distinguished Urologist, robotic surgery champion, and CEO of the Vattikuti Foundation, Mahendra Bhandari, was conferred the degree of DSc (Honoris Causa) by King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in recognition of his exemplary contribution to the development of two premier medical institutions in India and his outstanding work in the fields of Urology, Kidney Transplant and Robotic Surgery.

Ayodhya/IBNS: Prabha Khaitan Foundation (PKF) expanded its cultural and literary footprint by launching its new Ayodhya chapter with the unveiling of journalist-author Anant Vijay’s latest Hindi book - “Over the Top: OTT ka Mayajaal” at the iconic Raj Sadan - the Royal Palace of Ayodhya.

Eminent robotic surgeon Dr Adeel Khan of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis received first place in the Vattikuti Foundation KS International Innovation Awards 2023 for the submission of a robot-assisted liver transplant on a 68-year-old male with hepatitis C related cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma from a deceased donor.
