Maldives: Turquoise memories | Maldives is the land of turquoise, emerald and cobalt crystal clear waters and white sands. And from airport you do not see a bus or a car waiting for you. It is a boat that waits for you to take you to the island resorts like Meeru Island Resort or Adaaran from the airport. In Maldives every island is a resort and you can have the best snorkeling experience here while you stay in a water villa in the Indian Ocean and can swim in the waters just taking the wooden stairs to the sparkling waters. | 30-Sep-2015 |

A day in Kingston, Ontario | Kingston is a Canadian city located in Eastern Ontario where the St. Lawrence River flows out of Lake Ontario. The city is sited at the mouth of the Cataraqui River (south end of the Rideau Canal). Growing European exploration in the 17th century and the desire for the Europeans to establish a presence close to local Native occupants to control trade led to the founding of a French trading post known as Fort Frontenac in 1673. The fort became a focus for settlement. Located midway between Toronto and Montreal, Kingston was named the first capital of the Province of Canada on February 15, 1841, by Governor Lord Sydenham. While its time as a political centre was short, Kingston has remained an important military installation. Images by Sujoy Dhar | 16-Sep-2015 |
