It is cherry blossom time in Washington DC now and the streets are bursting with flowers- from White House to Tidal Basin. Peak bloom, when 70% of the Yoshino cherry trees are in full bloom, is a key indicator of the best viewing time- end of March to early April. The US capital is buzzing with visitors.
