If you are yet to make your Easter holiday plans, then why not check out the special package on offer from Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives?
Between March 27 and April 2, the resort is offering a range of activities and dining options suitable for individuals and families.
With ‘Rekindling Roots’ as the theme, the resort urges its guests to use the opportunity ‘to strengthen their family ties and embark on a journey of self-discovery’.
Stay
Tucked away in North Male Atoll of the archipelago and surrounded by the Indian Ocean, Kuda Villingili Resort consists of 75 villas – including 39 beach villas and residences with private pool, and 36 overwater villas – which, positioned both on the sunrise and sunset side of the island, offer 180-degree view of the ocean.
The resort is home to a beachfront spa and a kids club.
The pool at the resort is said to be one of the largest in the Maldives and is surrounded by sunbeds and cabanas.
You may take a dip in the Jacuzzi or stop by the pool bar.
There is a shallow end where you may take the kids for a swim.
Dine
The resort includes seven restaurants, three bars and an exclusive whiskey and cigar lounge, which will be hosting special dinners and programmes during the Easter festivities.
Located in the heart of the island, next to the pool, there are three dining venues – Spice (offering a mix of Indian-Arabic dishes), East (Thai-Chinese cuisine), and Med (Italian-Mediterranean).
Mar-Umi serves South American cuisine for lunch and a mix of Japanese-Peruvian dishes in the evening.
Fire offers a classic American steakhouse experience while Ocean takes diners on a seafood journey with a European flair, and Earth specialises in organic Asian dishes.
Easter festivities
The resort has planned a host of activities for guests of all ages, including kids.
The festivities begin on March 27, 2024, with a special Easter soiree at the Raalhu Bar with cocktails and canapes as the sun sets in the Indian Ocean.
Follow up with a four-course set menu – Spice Journey – which takes you on a voyage through the spice route, to the accompaniment of live music.
On March 28, you may choose to indulge in a Maldivian and International Buffet Dinner at The Restaurant.
Embark on a culinary journey to the East on March 29, where an array of delectable dishes await guests.
A fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine will be the highlight of the dinner at Mar-Umi on March 30.
The Easter Gala Dinner at The Restaurant, on March 31, includes gourmet dishes and signature cocktails.
Unwind with a Surf & Turf BBQ dinner the next day, complete with refreshing beverages and live music.
A Wine Library Dinner on April 2 brings the curtains down on the Easter festivities.
Fill your festive days with activities such as sunset cruises, stargazing cruises, dolphin cruises, and local island tours, or go snorkelling to see the vibrant underwater life.
Or, if you are looking forward to some self-love, join a power yoga session or sign up for a spa package.
There are plenty of other options, such as a table tennis tournament, a spring spark talent show, cookery masterclasses, Arabian Night with the DJ, a family sandcastle competition, a pool party with aqua zumba and games, an exciting Easter egg search, and a friendly football match.
The Kuda Fiyo Kids' Club will be hosting fun-filled Easter games and creative workshops in line with the festive theme.
Some of the activities include carrot footprints, Easter egg wreaths, spoon bunnies, giant Easter egg painting, Easter egg decorating, bunny collage making, cotton ball bunny crafting, cupcake decorating, and scavenger hunts.
