SAS will resume nonstop flights between Scandinavia and India from October 1, 2026, with a year-round service connecting Copenhagen and Mumbai. The route will operate five times a week using an Airbus A330, marking SAS' return to India after a 17-year gap.
SAS said, the new service will provide connections between Copenhagen and Mumbai for travel between Northern Europe and India's financial capital, supporting business, travel and cultural exchanges. From Copenhagen Airport, passengers will also be able to connect to SAS' European and long-haul destinations, including New York, Boston and Toronto.

Flights are now available for sale through all booking channels. According to SAS, it is among the world's most punctual airlines and is regularly recognised for its operational excellence. On the new route, the airline will offer travellers between Scandinavia and India reliable service, quality onboard experience and seamless connectivity across its global network.
