Sanchita Dance Foundation, in association with Techno India University & Rotary Club of Calcutta Metro City will host the 3rd edition of Chitra Devi Music & Dance Festival in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture Rotary Sadan in Kolkata on September 15.
The festival will feature performances by some of India's popular artists including Padmashree Guru Prathibha Prahlad and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Pt. Ronu Majumder.
Majumder will be accompanied by Prosenjeet Poddar on Tabla.

The third artiste for the evening is Mahari dancer Guru Rupashree Mohapatra.
She is a recipient of prestigious accolades such as the Mahari Award and the Debadasi National Award.

Sanchita Dance Foundation, a philanthropic cultural institution based in Kolkata, was founded by the internationally acclaimed dance Guru and performing artiste Guru Sanchita Bhattacharya.

The Foundation is not only a centre for the holistic learning of Odissi dance but also an esteemed platform that curates high-calibre concerts annually, showcasing the finest artists from India alongside emerging talents from India and across the globe.
