Kolkata: The Second season of Campus Bengal Pro T-20 League got off to a rollicking start with Bollywood singing sensation Sunidhi Chauhan entertaining the crowd at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.
The trophy was unveiled by Bengal's two International stars Wriddhiman Saha and Jhulan Goswami.
The opening ceremony also witnessed the presence of former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly along with West Bengal ministers Sujit Bose, Aroop Biswas, Debasish Kumar and Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Snehasish Ganguly.
The first match featured Sobisco Smashers Malda against Murshidabad Kings, MK won the match by 7 wickets with 22 balls to spare.

MK won the toss and put SSM to bat. SSM were bowled out for 113 in 19.3 overs.
Syed Irfan Aftab picked up 4 wickets. Skipper Writtick Chatterjee scored 30 runs.
MK scored 119 for 3 in 16.2 overs. Rishabh Chowdhury scored 59 unbeaten runs and was declared Player of the Match.
