East India Travel Awards recognises the deserving in tourism sector

Kolkata, July 21 (NITN): In its third edition, the East India Travel Awards gathered the best-known faces and companies in the industry in eastern city Kolkata recently, gifting an entertaining evening livened up by music and glamour as the proud recipients walked home with trophies that recognised their hard work in the tourism sector .
While Emcee and Singer Dilruba held everyone in thrall with music and dance all through the evening, followed by a performance of salsa, the deserving were honoured at the Novotel Hotel and Residences, Kolkata where the event was graced by J.P. Shaw, Regional Director (East), India Tourism-Kolkata, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and Dr. Tanushree Pandey, Mrs. India 2015.
The black-tie event brought together more than 100 guests for an exciting evening to celebrate excellence in tourism. The objective of these awards is to advance and promote the success and prosperity of the sector.

India Travel Awards supports, promotes and develops the Indian travel and tourism industry by identifying and rewarding excellence, and inspiring its practitioners to continuously raise the standards of their products, and service offerings. Based on a unique system of jury judgment and voting, these awards will be fair and unbiased, finally culminating in a formal black tie ceremony that is glitzy, glamorous and graced by the who's who of the travel industry.
