At 80 he is the oldest in his trade still actively involved in each of the stages of fabric selection, designing, color matching, stitching and finishing. He keeps a strict watch on his products and caters to his buyers in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore apart from his stand alone store at Alipore, Kolkata.

Ram Gopal Rajpuria was born in 1937 in a traditional Marwari family of traders/retailers of clothiers.
He took up his ancestral business Mohanlal & Co and steadily made started a custom made tailoring which grew in popularity and there was a steady line of queue in front of his Burrabazaar shop.
But slowly Ram Gopal Rajpuria branched out to form his signature style and counts amongst his clients legends as Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, Brett Lee, Sanjiv and the late RP Goenka, Corporate heads of MacDonald’s India, KFC, Usha Martin, Emami, Dabur, Hyatt, Simplex, Mani Group, Sureka, Prasad, Khetawat, NK Realtors and many more.
He is perhaps the sole exclusive shirt maker in India who imports his textiles from Italy and his thread from Germany and machines from Germany as well.
A unit of 50 tailors have been exclusively working since 2001 at his Behala factory which itself is a heritage structure of famous Ray’s of Behala. Annually 13000 shirts are made by him.
His shop has 2500 ready shirts with 500 shirts in each size ready at his exclusive store in Alipore.
His brand name is BRUNITO (meaning Rising Sun in Italian) is a tie up with an Italian designer label.
The USP’s are quite a few, finest fabric, perfect fitting and classical collection for both party and office wear. The brand has over 1000 loyal customers and is available at some of the top drawer shops in New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
