Look up Shivang Mehta's book to know all about the brand ambassador tigers of India
New Delhi, Oct 30 (NITN): Nature conservation should be given utmost importance and bureaucracy should not be allowed to dictate terms in regards to tourism, said popular wildlife conservationist, author and photographer, Valmik Thapar, recently at a book launch in New Delhi.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the launch of a book titled 'A Decade with Tigers: Supremacy.Solitude.Stripes', by Shivang Mehta.

The book traces the change in approach to tiger photography in India and not only showcases the Royal Bengal Tiger in its various moods but also presents the diversity of Indian wildlife across terrains.

 

Speaking at the book launch held at the WWF Auditorium, author and photographer Shivang Mehta, shared his experiences accompanied by an audio/visual presentation.

Trish De Niyogi of Niyogi Books, the publishers of 'A Decade with Tigers' delivered the welcome address.

Also present were Ravi Singh - Secretary General and CEO WWF India, Rajesh Bedi - wildlife photographer, and Mike Pandey - wildlife filmmaker.

The hard-bound book is priced at Rs 1,750.
