Washington D.C: Post the surge in omicron cases throughout Canada, the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) alongside the U.S. State Department advised against visiting the neighbouring North American nation.

Travel advisory for Canada has been shifted to "Level Four: Very High" by CDC on Monday, while the US State Dept. followed suit with a "Level Four: Do Not Travel" recommendation.

Recently, the CDC has named the island of Curaçao as a Level Four destination as well.
