Anand Mahindra, Chairperson of Mahindra & Mahindra, shared his desire to visit Kadamakkudy, a scenic village in Kerala, back in July. And true to his word, he made it happen in December. Mahindra's trip to Kerala was initially for a conference, but he chose to extend his stay to explore the charm of Kadamakkudy, a place renowned for its picturesque beauty.

Known for his regular updates and sharing his take on a wide range of issues on X, Mahindra was in Kerala earlier this month for official commitments. After his conference wrapped-up, he travelled to Kadamakkudy to see whether the village matches its image as one of Kerala’s most scenic and standout locations.

Sharing his experience on X, Mahindra wrote, “I lived up to a promise I had made to myself… After our Group’s M101 annual leadership conference in Kochi last week, on Friday I drove to Kadamakkudy to see if it truly deserves its reputation as one of the most beautiful villages on earth.

"Clean and pristine. Tranquil kayals stretching as far as the eye can see, with small launches chugging gently along their waters. Egrets and black cormorants, preening and drying themselves in the sun. Mesmerising. Some landscapes don’t just impress; they recalibrate you.”

Mahindra’s reflections have once again drawn attention to Kadamakkudy, a cluster of scenic islands near Kochi, known for its backwaters, birdlife and serene rural charm.
