Dubai has opened its first fully private beach designed exclusively for women, adding a new dimension to the city’s evolving coastline experience.

Located at Al Mamzar Beach, the project forms part of a larger redevelopment aimed at transforming one of Dubai’s best-known waterfront areas into a more modern and inclusive leisure destination.

Part of the Al Mamzar redevelopment project, the women-only beach represents a major upgrade to the city’s coastal infrastructure. Dubai has designed the space as a fully enclosed private beach where women can relax, swim, and spend time comfortably away from public view.

A Beach Designed Around Privacy and Comfort

One of the most notable features of the project is its dedicated night swimming experience. Equipped with high-tech lighting systems and supervised by trained female lifeguards, the beach will allow women to swim safely even after sunset — something rarely seen in traditional beach settings across the region.

Privacy remains central to the concept. The beach will operate entirely with female staff. Strict no-photography rules and smart monitoring systems have been introduced to maintain safety standards and ensure visitor comfort. No cameras or photography are allowed inside the private section.

More Than Just a Beach

Dubai is also positioning the destination as more than just a beach. The redevelopment includes cafes, fitness zones, cycling tracks, and other lifestyle-focused facilities, creating what authorities describe as a new standard of safe luxury by the waterfront.

The initiative aligns with Dubai’s wider strategy to expand beach access across the city while also offering women a more secure and comfortable option for spending time outdoors, particularly during cooler evening hours after sunset.
