LT Governor of Pondicherry meets Chiranjeevi
New Delhi, Aug 2 (IBNS): Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry Virendra Kataria on Friday called on Union Tourism Minister K Chiranjeevi to expedite the releases of Central financial assistance to various tourism infrastructure projects in the state.

"A review meeting was held with the officials of Ministry of Tourism regarding all the tourism projects relating to Pondicherry in the 11th Five Year Plan," the Ministry of Tourism said in a statement on Friday.

"An action plan was worked out for the speedy implementation of the various projects. The Tourism Minister has responded favourably and instructed the officials of the Ministry to hasten up the process," it said.
