Andhra Pradesh Tourism announces 25 tour packages covering all 5 tourist hubs in the state
Mumbai, June 24 (NITN): Andhra Pradesh Tourism, all geared up to promote tourism in the state, has announced 25 new packages for the benefit of holiday planners and travellers.

The tour packages have been segregated into the 5 tourist hubs of the state – Visakhapatnam, Konaseema – Rajahmundry - Kakinada, Amaravati - Vijayawada, Tirupati - Nellore and Ananthapuramu – Kurnool - Kadapa. All the tour packages are already in effect.

Visakhapatnam hub which covers Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakapatnam districts has announced 4 packages - Visakhapatnam – Araku - Anantagiri ( 3 Nights / 4Days ), Visakhapatnam – Araku – Arasavalli ( 3 Nights / 4Days ), Visakhapatnam – Borra Caves – Matchkund-Jeypore – Jagadalpur ( 3 Nights / 4Days ) and Visakhapatnam – Jagadalpur – Konark Puri – Chilka lake ( 4 Nights / 5 Days ).

The second hub which is the Konaseema – Rajahmundry - Kakinada hub has announced 4 packages - Rajahmundry – Maredumalli, an Eco-Tour package, Kakinada – Samarlakota – Annavaram, Kakinada- Maredumalli and Rajahmundry – Maredumalli – Papikondalu.

The third hub, Amaravati hub covering the districts of Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam has announced a single day star package -  Amaravati Capital tour package.

The fourth hub i.e., Ananthapuramu – Kurnool - Kadapa hub has announced 7 tour packages - Heritage-Eco-Pilgrimage Tour: Bangalore, Lepakshi, Penukonda, Horsley Hills, Pilgrimage and Heritage Tour: Bangalore – Puttarparthi - Lepakshi, Temple Tour - Bangalore, Srisailam, Mahanandi, Ahobilam, Temple and Eco Tour: Anantapuram – Puttaparthy – Kadiri –Katarupalli - Timmamma Marrimanu, Temple and Eco Tour: Kurnool – Orvakal – Yaganti – Belum Caves - Ahobilam -Mahanandi – Srisailam, Bangalore - Mantralayam Tour and Heritage and Leisure tour:  Bangalore - Kotilingeswra temple – Horsley hills - Puttaparthy Lepakshi – Bangalore.

The fifth and last Tirupati hub encompassing the districts of Nellore and Chittor, has announced 9 tour packages - Sri Kalahasti - local package tour, Kanipakkam – local package tour, local packages starting from Vishnu Nivasam – Twice daily, Tirupati – Horsley hills – Talakona – Tirupati, Temple Tours: Tirupati – Sriasailam - Mahanandi, Ahobilam-Yaganti-Belum Caves- Tirupati  (On Demand Tour), Chandragiri Fort –Tirupati, an evening package (On Demand Tour), ex-Chennai (on joint partnership basis), ex-Madurai and Kumbakonam- Tirumala.

Neerabh Kumar Prasad, I.A.S., Principal Secretary to Government, Tourism & Culture, said “The tour packages have been specially crafted for the holiday travellers to make best sue of. Convenience of traveller is of utmost importance for us and these packages have been designed keeping their comfort and convenience in mind. We aim to provide them with a memorable experience to cherish ever after every time they visit Andhra Pradesh.”
