A one stop shop for all information related to Indian Railways, Trainman enables consumers to check PNR status, seat availability, train schedules at one go.
With over 4 lakh app downloads, Trainman receives over 2 lakh visits a day across its site and app.
Speaking on the development, Vineet Chirania, Director and CEO – Trainman said, “Language should not be a barrier in accessing information. It is with the intention to address this pain-point that we’ve diversified our mobile app offering across seven Indian languages, namely - Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and now, Marathi. We hope that this diversification will enable us to serve our customer base better, whilst widening our reach."
Trainman has also tied up with Cleartrip to enable customers to book train tickets, in addition to associating with on-demand auto-rickshaw aggregator Jugnoo.
The tie up with Jugnoo enables passengers to book auto-rickshaws while travelling to and from their respective railway stations, using the Trainman mobile app.
