Mumbai/NITN: The release date of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar starrer upcoming Hindi film Sooryavanshi has been postponed over the outbreak of the deadly Novel Coronavirus.
The decision was announced by Akshay himself on Thursday.
Akshay took to Twitter to say, "We have been excited as you are to present the film to you and your family, but due to the recent outburst of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we, the makers, have decided to postpone the release of your film Sooryavanshi, keeping in mind the health and safety of our beloved audience... And therefore, Sooryavanshi will be back for you just when the time is right..."

The film was earlier slated to release on Mar 24.
Sooryavanshi, which is director Rohit Shetty's fourth installment of his Police Universe, also stars actress Katrina Kaif in the lead role.

Etihad Airways is set to introduce direct flights to Luxembourg, becoming the first airline from the Middle East to operate services to the country. Launching on Oct 29 2026, the new route will also be the only nonstop connection between Luxembourg and Abu Dhabi, linking two key centres in Europe and the Middle East, the airline said.
