Someplace Else celebrates its 25th anniversary

Kolkata: Someplace Else, one of the pubs in Kolkata by THE Park Hotels, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The silver jubilee celebrations at Someplace Else will witness a month-long musical extravaganza with rock bands performing from all over the country. There will be live gigs and over-the-top performances by Parikrama, Krosswindz, Grooverz, Nucleus, The Fender Benders, and a disco haven night with DJ Austin.  

It is the first lounge to introduce the concept of live musical gigs throughout the week in Park Street, the most famous thoroughfare in Kolkata.

In 2019, it started Open Mic that weaves a community of musicians, poets and fans, all under one roof. It has also hosted renowned musicians like Ehsaan & Loy, Nikhil D Souza, Anjan Dutt, Parikrama, Nischay Parekh, Ganesh Talkies, Louiz Banks, Jonas Hellborg, Indian Ocean, Mukul Dore and Ravindra Chari, Mumford & Sons, Pentagram, Zero, Orange street, and Indus Creed among others.
