Kolkata/NITN: In winter, India harvests some of its best oranges, a fruit known for its taste, vitamin C content, and an interesting culinary ingredient.
A few restaurants and cafes in Kolkata have gone beyond the regular recipes and come up with some very interesting dishes by using the fresh winter oranges.
Here are five orange-based seasonal dishes you cannot miss.
Hard Rock Cafe
Hard Rock Cafe has whipped up a special orange-infused dish called Fresh Beet Side Salad. The dish consists of chilled red beets and fresh orange tossed in a medley of mixed greens with lemon and herb vinaigrette. Topped with crumbled goat cheese and toasted pepita ( a kind of pumpkin seeds), it is ideal for those looking for a nutrient-packed, light option.

Potboiler Coffee House
Head over to Potboiler Coffee House for their top of the charts Orange Palace, an espresso with cinnamon, complementing the orange juice. The citrusy flavour is enhanced by a dash of rosemary.
