Craft Coffee pushes the envelope in the world of specialty coffee that boasts being ethically sourced, freshly roasted, brewed with passion, and integrated with technology.
The artisan process of making coffee today depends on many variables: coffee origin, quality of the roast, humidity, temperature, talent of the barista among other factors.
There is no question about it; the more these variables are controlled, managed and processed, the better coffee one will make.
Craft Coffee began its journey in the 'City of Joy' when co-founders Abhinav Kumar along with Dipraj Das quit their respective corporate life and commenced operations with a pilot speciality coffee kiosk at Park Street, Kolkata in March last year.
Continuous learning and improvisations lead to the launch of an 'Experience Centre' to showcase the complete coffee bean to cup journey in front of Calcuttan coffee enthusiasts.
Each of these experience centres span an area of 5,000-7,000 sq feet each alongwith 20-35 kiosks basis the catchment radius of coverage.
The specialty coffee brand aims to build a parallel presence in online & institutional sales through the launch of the Coffee Box subscription program whereby being professional coffee roasters the brand will be customising and curating roast profiles based on their guest’s palette.
To enhance the coffee sipping experience, the pairing of food items such as handcrafted artisanal cheese, chocolates & bottled brews started at the Experience Centre adds to it.
Having hand-crafted the brews in-house, Abhinav and Dipraj believe in tailoring select foods that pair ideally with the customer's exquisite range of speciality coffee emanating various flavours suiting to the palette of the young millennials and Gen-Z
Artisanal coffee which is one of the key focus areas of the brand is all about discovering and appreciating newer flavours, aromas, textures & roast profiles and hence the finer nuances of coffee.
