Mumbai: Warner Bros. Discovery India has announced the launch of its new travel and food series, World On My Plate with Shipra Khanna, set to premiere at 7:00 pm on TLC on March 29.
Hosted and curated by celebrated chef and television personality Shipra Khanna, the show brings together food, travel, and culture through a personal and immersive lens.
Across three visually rich episodes, Shipra steps into global destinations to explore not just what people eat, but why they eat it, uncovering the stories, traditions, and human connections behind every dish.
At its core, World On My Plate is about the discovery of places, people, and the shared language of food. With her warmth and curiosity, Shipra immerses herself in local cultures, from bustling city streets to serene countryside settings, creating moments that feel both intimate and engaging.
Tanaz Mehta, Head Advertising Revenues - South Asia, Warner Bros. Discovery, said, "At TLC, our focus has always been on bringing authentic stories that reflect how people live and connect. World On My Plate builds on this by using food as a lens to explore shared traditions across geographies.

"We’re excited to collaborate with Chef Shipra Khanna, whose perspective brings both depth and relatability to these narratives. As we continue to strengthen TLC’s lifestyle programming in India, the show introduces a fresh global dimension, while remaining rooted in insights that resonate strongly with our audiences."
The series opens in London, where Shipra navigates the city’s iconic landmarks and diverse culinary landscape, blending history with contemporary flavors.
As the journey unfolds, she delves deeper into London’s cultural contrasts from royal heritage to artistic enclaves before heading to Spain, where vineyards, olive orchards, and coastal kitchens set the stage for a celebration of tradition, community, and cuisine.
Shipra Khanna added, “Food has always been my way of connecting with people and understanding cultures. With World On My Plate, I’ve had the opportunity to step into new worlds, learn from incredible individuals, and share stories that go far beyond the plate. This show is very special to me, and I’m excited for audiences to be part of this journey with me.”
With its strong visual storytelling, immersive journeys, and meaningful interactions, World On My Plate with Shipra Khanna promises to offer viewers a fresh perspective on global cuisine, celebrating flavors alongside the traditions and emotions that shape them.
