IndiGo has introduced a new in-flight pre-book menu as part of its revised food and beverage (F&B) programme. The programme includes new packaging, a refreshed menu and a mix of familiar dishes and new options inspired by Indian regional cuisines and international flavours, the airline said.
The airline has gradually expanded its onboard food and beverage offerings in response to changing customer preferences. It initially offered a limited selection of snacks and drinks but has since developed a wider menu focused on taste, quality and convenience, while keeping prices affordable and maintaining operational efficiency.
Menu features Regional Favourites and Global Flavours
The revised menu includes quick snacks, regional dishes, premium food options and meals for passengers with different dietary requirements. IndiGo has also expanded its pre-book menu with freshly prepared sandwiches, rolls and samosas.
New items, available on select routes and in certain cabins, include the Veg Coronation Sandwich, which features a mildly curried filling with sweet and savoury flavours, inspired by the Coronation recipe. The Tangra Style Chilli Paneer Roll draws on the Indo-Chinese cuisine of Kolkata's Tangra district, while the Egg Roast Roll is a South Indian-inspired kathi roll filled with spiced scrambled eggs. Another addition is the Fort Kochi Roast Chicken Sandwich, made with roast chicken, fresh vegetables and mild coastal flavours.
Good food can make the journey even better. And we've got plenty to choose from! Introducing our all-new food programme featuring an ever-evolving menu inspired by local hits from kitchens and streets around the world. Made at some of the world's best flight kitchens, the menu features the iconic Coronation Sandwich, Fort Kochi Roll and much more. So, take your pick, pre-book and fly. Bon appétit!

Passengers can also choose from special meal categories, including Jain, vegan, diabetic and low-calorie options.
For those buying food onboard rather than pre-booking, the menu includes ready-to-eat meals and a rotating 'Snack of the Day' selection. Items offered on select flights include Butter Toffee Popcorn, Hand Murukku and Edamame Beans. Beverage options include Hot Chocolate, Calming Blue Tea and Coco-Litchi.
The new pre-book menu has also been designed around the practical requirements of serving food on an aircraft. The focus is on making meals easy to eat, enabling efficient onboard service and keeping the cabin clean, while supporting the airline's operational requirements and on-time performance.
Sustainability measures in food and catering
IndiGo has also incorporated measures to reduce the environmental impact of its food and catering operations. These include pre-booking perishable food items to help minimise food waste, along with the use of wooden cutlery and recyclable tin or paper packaging.
The measures are intended to support the airline's sustainability efforts while maintaining food quality, safety and convenience for passengers.
