Rs 990/- for AirAsia Bangalore-Goa flight
New Delhi, May 29 (Not in Town): AirAsia India on Thursday informed that it will begin its flight operations in the country on June 12 with the low cost airline beginning operations on Bangalore-Goa route with an introductory all-inclusive fare of Rs.990 per ticket.

 The AirAsia flight will take off from Bangalore around 3 p.m. and from Goa at 6 p.m. AirAsia will be operating A320 aircraft with sharklet wing-tips for fuel savings.

The ticket sales for the flights  opens on Friday.

"Very very proud to announce AirAsia India open for sale tomorrowWow. First flight June 12th. Ser you all In India on the 12th," AirAsia's Group CEO Tony Fernandes tweeted.

AirAsia India will begin flying with two planes.

The airlines company was granted the flying licence by DGCA on May 7.
