Singapore Airlines scheduled to restart operations from India from November 29 Special fares from SIA

New Delhi/NITN: Are you looking to end the year on a rocking note, hoping to travel abroad?

Then there is some good news from Singapore Airlines (SIA).

The airline is scheduled to start its operations from India starting November 29 this year.

They had suspended operations since March 2020 owing to the COVID-19 prevention regulations.

According to latest arrangements, the airline is scheduled to launch daily Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) services from Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai and non-VTL services from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Kochi, all from November 29.

Subject to regulations, eligible passengers on VTL flights will be allowed quarantine free entry into Singapore.

However, passengers on non-VTL flights must meet entry requirements into Singapore, and follow prevailing health control measures, including seven days of quarantine in Singapore, according to reports.

Scoot, SIA’s low-cost subsidiary, will operate non-VTL services from Amritsar, Hyderabad, and Tiruchirappalli, reports said.

Singapore Airlines is offering up to 50 percent off on selected fares to Singapore from all SIA points across India.

Travellers may avail the sale until November 30, 2021 for travel before December 31 this year.

Note: Customers who are not Singapore citizens or permanent residents and wish to travel on the VTL services, need to apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) prior to their visa application, between seven and 60 calendar days before the intended date of entry into Singapore.
