Jet Airways enhances connectivity to Qatar

Thiruvananthapuram/Kozhikode, Mar 14 (NITN): Jet Airways, an international airline, on Saturday announced the introduction of two new direct flights from Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode to Doha in Qatar, effective from March 15, 2015.
Initially, the flights will operate three days a week until May 31, 2015. Subsequently these flights will be revised with new flight timings to operate on a daily basis.
With the launch of these two new flights, Jet Airways now connects Doha with three cities in Kerala, complementing the current daily direct service from Kochi.
The flights will commence operations from March 15 and will operate as per the following schedule till March 28, 2015:
Jet Airways flight 9W 594 will depart Thiruvananthapuram at 07:45 hrs on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and arrive Doha at 10:05 hrs (Local Time). Jet Airways flight 9W 595 will depart Doha on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 11:20 hrs (LT) and arrive Kozhikode at 17:50 hrs.
Jet Airways flight 9W 596 will depart from Kozhikode on Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 18:50 hrs and arrive Doha at 20:50 hrs (LT). Jet Airways flight 9W 593 will depart Doha at 21:50 hrs (LT) on Saturday, Sunday and Monday and arrive Thiruvananthapuram at 04:45 hrs the next day.
The flights will then be rescheduled from March 29, 2015 to operate direct flights 3 days a week until May 31, 2015, as per the following proposed schedule.
Jet Airways flight 9W 594 will depart Thiruvananthapuram at 07:15 hrs on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and arrive in Doha at 09:35 hrs (Local Time). Jet Airways flight 9W 595 will depart Doha on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 10:35 hrs (LT) and arrive into Kozhikode at17:25 hrs.
Jet Airways flight 9W 596 from Kozhikode will depart at 18:25 hrs on Saturday, Sunday and Monday and arrive at Doha at 20:15 hrs (LT). Jet Airways flight 9W 593 will depart Doha at 21:15 hrs on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (LT) and arrive Thiruvananthapuram at 04:20 hrs the next day.
Jet Airways will operate daily direct flights between Thiruvananthapuram – Doha and Kozhikode – Doha, effective June 1, 2015.

Currently Jet Airways operates four daily flights to Doha from India (two from Mumbai and one each from Delhi and Kochi).
As part of the inaugural offer, Jet Airways has introduced attractive fares on the Thiruvananthapuram – Doha and Kozhikode - Doha routes.
On the Kozhikode-Doha route, the return special economy introductory base fare will be INR 12,170/- (excluding taxes) while the return Première introductory base fare will be INR 28,095 (excluding taxes).
On the Thiruvananthapuram - Doha route, the return special Economy introductory base fare will be INR 9,250/- (excluding taxes) while the return Première introductory base fare for the same sector is INR 29,560 (excluding taxes).
The airline will deploy Boeing 737-800 Next Generation (NG) aircraft with a capacity of 12 seats in Premiere class and 156 seats in Economy class on this route, where the guests will experience the airline’s famed in-flight service, its award-winning In-flight Entertainment (IFE) programme and hallmark hospitality.
