The app shows at any time the next local train to the traveler’s home/office.
With this, RailYatri app has the largest network of trains covering all local and national trains. With the launch of ‘Local Trains’, users can get information about more than 13000 (local + long distance) trains within one app.
Manish Rathi, co-founder and CEO, RailYatri.in says, “Despite the fact that between 28% and 35% population in every metro city commutes by local trains, not much attention has been paid towards this mode of transport. Hence, we decided to bridge the gap and make local train commuters’ lives simpler.” He further adds, “Today’s train traveler is evolved and doesn’t want to be bothered with too many apps. With local trains too, RailYatri becomes the most comprehensive train app in India.”
‘Local Trains’ feature allows the users to access information more than 1570 local trains in Kolkata. The network covers about 430 local stations in Kolkata till Eden Gardens, Kalyani, Howrah, Azimganj, Diamond Harbour, Radhamohanpur being the routes with major traffic.

Etihad Airways is set to introduce direct flights to Luxembourg, becoming the first airline from the Middle East to operate services to the country. Launching on Oct 29 2026, the new route will also be the only nonstop connection between Luxembourg and Abu Dhabi, linking two key centres in Europe and the Middle East, the airline said.
Lufthansa will mark its 100th anniversary in 2026, commemorating a century since the founding of the original “Luft Hansa” on January 6, 1926. The airline’s first flight followed shortly after, on April 6 of the same year, marking the beginning of what would become one of aviation’s most recognisable brands.
