Like any other individual, Aarav finds the love of his life, Angelina but life doesn’t become smooth for them.
Soon he finds that Angelina is suffering from a terminal heart condition and her days are numbered.
Readers may think that Aarav will donate his heart to his beloved and remain alive inside her.
However, there is a twist in the tale and the story concludes with the happy union of the lovers, since Bundala, a courtesan, who had a past connection with Aarav, agrees to donate her heart to Angelina, .
The strong bond between friends is one of the main areas of focus in this novel.

Aarav’s love for Angelina is pure and unconditional; hence he doesn’t think twice before planning to donate his own heart to her, but fate has other plans for them.
The significance of the title is included in the novel and it enhances the blissful essence of love, since the wet petals has been compared to the lustrous eyes of Angelica which can rejuvenate anyone who beholds it!

The burning political issue surrounding reservations is showcased along with a personal and emotional touch, which many people can relate to.
