'Prerna' means motivation. We all have our own motivations in life which are the driving force behind our actions.
The book 'Prerna' is the autobiography of Dr. Anil Kashi Murarkar, a social worker.
The story of Dr. Anil Kashi Murarkar has to do more with social work for the country and its citizens.
It urges its fellow readers to do more in life than just doing things for themselves.
Often simple lives have a greater story than the more complex lives.
Dr. Murarkar’s story is much like that, simple yet has an impact on readers.
It motivates them to be a better person.
In today’s selfish world of high aims and salaries, we often forget the smaller things of life which are of greater importance.
The writer reminds us of those certain responsibilities that we have towards our nation and society.
The author says that the world’s largest democracy cannot be so only with the effort of the politicians. It has to be an collective effort of the citizens too.
