In his book 'How to become a top performing individual', Gaurav Gupta talks about performance enhancing theories.
Congratulations on the release of ' How to become a top performing individual'. What is the feedback from your friends and readers who have already read your book.
Many thanks to the Power Publishers team to release my dream book. I am having positive feedback from the people who read my book and they gave me 8 points out of 10 as a rating.
What kind of books inspires you as a writer? Who are your favorite authors?
One word answer for this question is "thoughtful books" whether it is scientific, educational, motivational or informative. Being truthful to you, I haven't read many books except a few books based on professional growth and success. Most of the time in my life, I read only magazines such as India Today, Outlook and comics as well a number of children's motivational books. At present I prefer to read John Maxwell books so he is my favorite of current time.
Why did you want to become a writer? Who inspired you to become a writer? What triggered you to come into writing?
I was writing for the last 10 ten years on different social sites as a guest post writer on different subjects, for instance, on social, political, economic, educational and motivational thoughts. But become a paid writer for the last five years. I used to experience a huge amount of impact of my views, but credit was being taken away by someone else.
So one day (2016) one of my friends suggested that either I write a book or start my own venture.
It was not easy to write but I had started summarizing and indexing content.
In between, I had got some professional e-book writing assignments and I did it successfully.
My confidence increased day by day and because of this my book became a reality.
What are you doing to let readers know about your book?
Right now I am doing nothing but will plan soon after launching this book. As I believe in strategy and have knowledge about internet marketing so I will use it further.
Tell me something about your book. Some highlights.
My book "How to become a top performing individual" is based on the performance enhancement theories to deliver every individual. Because I have felt in my life that your best performance is everything and key of natural happiness. Rest have nominal value for you than a good performance. Individuals, often distracted, fail to perform well and they face setbacks and experience negativity all the time. So it's good to improve performance than doing anything else, it is your everything a good friend, parent, and a good boss.
Tell me something about yourself and your background.
My name is Gaurav Gupta, I am a Delhi university B. Com graduate. Further I acquired a sound engineering diploma, then post graduation in Mass communication from SMU and then an MBA PG from NIBM and a Digital Marketing certification.
At present, I am working as a freelance writer/editor.
Do you plan to take it up as a full time profession if response is good?
Yes, I have planned to write some more books but it depends on the success of the first one. However, my aim is to establish myself as a journalist/writer/editor and entrepreneur in the web world.
