Kolkata/NITN: 'Aamrai Jitbo Aaj', a music video with a song by Bollywood singer Shaan (Shantanu Mukherjee) went viral during the lockdown, in May 2020.
The music video made by Sanskari Houze in collaboration with Power Publishers & Motion Pictures features celebrities of West Bengal, who lip synced to Shaan’s song from their own houses during the lockdown.
The song is aimed to motivate Bengalis to forget the gloomy days of lockdown and move on with life again, and come back stronger.
The song 'Aamrai Jitbo Aaj' features Bengali celebrities from various walks of life like films, literature and sports.
Actress Deboleena Dutta Mukherjee, actor and film director Tathagata Chatterjee, film director Riingo Banerjee, author Indanil Sanyal, actor Aryaan Bhowmik, actress Sudipta Chakraborty, author Binod Ghoshal, actor and singer Ishaan Majumdar, cricketer Ronodeb Bose, cricketer Abhijit Mondal, cricketer Anustup Majumder and actress Sayantani Sengupta have lip synced with Shaan’s song from their own houses, thus adhering to a key rule of lockdown -- maintaining social distancing.
The music video, with lyrics by Suprotim, has been composed by Prosenjit, conceptualized by Dipankar Banerjee of Sanskari Houze, coordinated by Pinaki Ghosh and Anupriya Dutta of Power Publishers & Motion Pictures, and edited by Sayan Mullick.
