The Ideathon aims to showcase hottest start-up ecosystem and provide budding entrepreneurs with the resources and networks to start their own business.
A competitive forum with a jury of the best industry representatives, India Ideathon has chosen 100 most promising ideas out of 260 Ideas received from across India, which is almost a 122% increase from the ideas received in its last edition. The jury, which comprised of prominent industry representatives, declared the first Phase results on Feb 10. The competition for the first Phase ended on Jan 26.
While the best idea in this Phase will get a cash prize of Rs.1,00,000 and qualify for the next round, the first and second runners-ups will win Rs.50,000 and Rs.25,000, respectively, while the rest will get cash prizes of Rs.5,000 and certificates of appreciation.
The 100 best ideas have been displayed on the India Ideathon website, as these qualify for the second Phase, which begins on Feb 11, 2015.
The company seeks to honour individuals who are bringing new ideas to the forefront, redefining the existing business models and strategies, and discovering new and profitable markets.
Initiated in partnership with Valueleaf and Mantra Media, the campaign aims to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with a platform and help turn their ideas into reality.
The competition was also supported by Letsintern as Student Internship Partner and Many other Partners Institutes viz. are Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak, The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Pune, Amity University, Sri Balaji Society, Pune, Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad and National Entrepreneurship Network.
