The program shall feature Nine General Sessions on various issues of Social and Economic importance largely centred on the humanitarian work undertaken by Rotary International globally.
National and International speakers shall assemble and address a delegation of nearly 1500 Rotarians and eminent persons of the region for 3 days.
Elaborating the same, District Governor Shyamashree Sen said, “ We have invited eminent personalities as Jawhar Sircar, Jayanta Ghoshal, Mohan Guruswamy, Dilip Cherian , Dr Pramath Sinha, Dr. Arup Roychowdhury, Prof Dr Sanjay Mukherjee,
Boria Majumdar, Dr Palash Sen, Dr Sylvia Whitlock, Urmi Basu , Deepa Willingham, and many more. Rotary International District 3291 shall also acknowledge vocational excellence by giving Rotary Banga Ratna Awards to personalities from various vocations. There shall be cultural presentations by Debojyoti Mishra’s troupe paying a tribute to SD & RD Burman and also the Indipop Band Euphoria led by Dr Palash Sen. We shall have Past District Governor AS Venkatesh from Chennai as Rotary International President's Representative for 3 days.”
