With an aim to spread joy among underprivileged kids this New Year, the radio station in association with Big Bazaar and its bakery division ‘So Fresh’ had organized a fun filled baking activity.
The celebration organized at Lake Mall, Kolkata on Dec 29, 2016 concluded with a cake mixing and cake making ceremony with the kids.
Around this time of the year, the whole nation indulges in the festive celebration. However, there are kids that lack the source of happiness and the privilege to rejoice.
The radio station with an aim to bridge this gap undertook the onus of bringing about a change and making it an eventful day for the underprivileged kids. 92.7 BIG FM & Big Bazaar jointly organized Cake cutting ceremony at Big Bazaar, Lake Mall to celebrate a sense of joy and happiness attached to the festivity. BIG FM RJ Nilanjan engaged these kids in fun and frolic activities thereby adding to their memorable New Year celebration experience.
Speaking on the occasion RJ Nilanjan said "We at 92.7 BIG FM always believe in empowering our listeners and bringing some value to them through our shows and initiatives. This time we spearheaded ‘Dil Darya’ initiative for NGO kids with an aim to bring smiles on their faces with our small gesture. Hope we will be coming with more such activities with which we can go all out and connect with every age group”.
