New Delhi, Mar 21 (NITN): Has all your New Year resolutions come to an end?? Have you again lost all hopes of getting fit? SPPC brings a new way to fulfill your new year resolution of fitness by the process of detoxification.
Detox means cleaning process of the body. During weight loss, it is necessary to go through a detoxification process to get rid of the bad elements in our body. This helps as prior to any weight loss regime.
Once you lose weight through detoxification, it is more sustainable in nature.
If your body has toxins, it also indirectly means that you may have a bad immunity and are prone to a variety of lifestyle diseases.
Detoxification, therefore, helps us in two ways. First, through detoxification you are getting rid of all the 'bad' food you have been eating all this while. And second, your weight loss becomes faster and is sustainable.
There are various kinds of detox processes you can try for lose weight:

1. No junk detox: Stick to only homemade food. No outside food is allowed, even though it is not junk. You will see a remarkable difference if you go on a no junk detoxification process. You will feel lighter and lose weight rapidly.
2. Water detox: No, this does not mean you only have to drink water all through the day, but rather have more of fruits, vegetables and detox waters through the day. No sugar is allowed in this detoxification program. You can add apples, cucumber and lemon to water and sip it through the day.
3. Juice detox: It is important to remember that you don't go through any extreme diet while opting for a detox. Juice detox involves vegetable and fruit juices in a day and no outside and fried food. Juice detox usually also means that you need to have plenty of water.
4. Smoothie detox: Smoothiedetox involves fruits and vegetable smoothies only. You can have two meals in a day. The rule remains the same in this one as well, no outside food and no fried food.
