Mumbai/NITN: If you are planning a vacation in Maharashtra, do note that visitors to historic monuments and sites in Aurangabad district must have taken at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, according to media reports.

Some of the most popular tourist destinations of Maharashtra are located in Aurangabad district, including the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Ajanta and Ellora.

Other popular attractions include Aurangabad town, Bibi ka Maqbara, Pitalkhora Buddhist caves, etc.

Offices and other institutions dealing with tourism related activities have also been asked to ensure that their staff are fully vaccinated against the Coronavirus, according to reports.

Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has also been asked to ensure that staff at all tourist locations are vaccinated, reports said.
