City of the Taj Mahal gears up for its annual festival; revised dates of the Taj Mahotsav in Agra announced Uttar Pradesh Tourism

NITN/Agra: The Taj Mahotsav Committee has announced the revised dates of the annual festival held in the historical city of Agra every year.

For this year, the festival has chosen 'Sanskriti & Samriddhi,' as the theme, along with the slogan ‘Viksit Bharat Ke Sankalp Sang, Taj Mahotsav Ke Rang’, to reflect the connection between Indian culture and prosperity.

Organised under the patronage of the Uttar Pradesh government, it showcases cultural programmes, sporting activities, local food and crafts, and many other events.

Highlights of the 2024 festival includes a Kite Festival, Hot Air Balloon rides, a special show of lights, among other things.

Taj Mahotsav 2024 will be held between February 17 and 27 at the Shilpgram, near Taj Mahal Eastern gate, Agra.

Visitors have to buy tickets to enter the festival arena; however, there is no separate entry fee for cultural programmes, etc.
