Aviation major Air India Express has launched its 'Payday Sale,' offering Xpress Value fares from ₹1,499 and zero check-in baggage ‘Xpress Lite’ fares starting from Rs. 1,429 available for logged-in members booking on the airline’s award-winning website, www.airindiaexpress.com.
"The sale is open for bookings from March 28 to March 31, 2025, for travel between April 1, 2025, and September 20, 2025," the company said in a statement.
As part of this offer, bookings made on the airline’s website can enjoy zero convenience fees. Xpress Lite fares come with added benefits, such as the option to pre-book an additional 3 kg of cabin baggage at no additional cost and discounted check-in baggage rates, with 15 kg available for Rs. 1,000 on domestic flights and 20 kg for Rs. 1,300 on international flights.
Additionally, the airline's website offers fab deals for loyalty members, including exclusive discounts on upgrades to Xpress Biz seats, the airline’s business class equivalent with an industry-leading seat pitch of up to 58 inches.
The Biz seats are available on 36 brand new Boeing 737-8 aircraft that Air India Express has recently inducted as part of its rapid expansion.
Additionally, logged-in loyalty members can book fab deals including 25% off ‘Gourmair’ hot meals, seat selection, Xpress Ahead priority services, 10 kg Xcess Check-In Baggage and 3 kg Xtra Carry-On Baggage.
The airline continues to offer special discounted fares and additional benefits on its website for students, senior citizens, doctors, and nurses, members of the armed forces, and their dependents, ensuring a wide range of benefits for flyers across its domestic and international network.
Air India Express has been rapidly expanding, recently welcoming its 100th aircraft and doubling its fleet size in just two years. The airline will soon operate over 500 daily flights across 54 destinations covering India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. As part of this rapid expansion.
The airline also commenced operations from Hindon Airport in the National Capital Region (NCR), becoming the first and only airline to operate from two airports in the metropolitan region.
The airline now connects Hindon to Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Kolkata, and Mumbai, with services to Bhubaneswar starting from March 30, 2025, and Varanasi from April 1, 2025.
