Route of 2 pairs of MEMU passenger trains extended
Kolkata, Jan 28 (NITN): South Eastern Railway has announced the extension of route of two pairs of existing MEMU Passenger trains.

"68007/68002 Howrah-Belda MEMU Passenger will be extended to Jaleswar from 29/01/2015 from Howrah and 30/01/2015 from Jaleswar, to fulfill the budget commitment and also in view of the passenger demand," read an official statement.

" 68007 Howrah-Jaleswar MEMU Passenger, leaving Belda at 21:10 hours will reach Jaleswar at 22:15 hours. The return train, 68002 Jaleswar-Howrah MEMU Passenger, leaving Jaleswar at 05:30 hours will arrive Belda at 6:40 hours," it said.

This daily passenger train will stop at Nekurseni, Dantan, Angua and Lakhannath Road between Belda and Jaleswar. However, there will be no change in the present timings in Howrah-Belda-Howrah Section.

According to a South Eastern Railway statement, "68047/68048 Kharagpur-Hijli MEMU Passenger in addition, will be extended up to Belda. The up train 68047, will run up to Belda on and from 29/01/2015 and 68048 will originate from Belda w.e.f. 30/01/2015. 68047 Kharagpur – Belda MEMU Passenger leaving Kharagpur at 21:25 hours will reach Belda at 22:15 hours."

In the return direction, 68048 Belda – Kharagpur MEMU Passenger, leaving Belda at 06:10 hours will arrive Kharagpur at 07:05 hours. This daily MEMU train will stop at Hijli, Benapur, Narayangarh and Bakhrabad between Kharagpur and Belda in both the directions.
