Parry Travels launches online travel portal

Chennai, Feb 6 (NITN): Parry Travels, the Travel Services Division of Parry Enterprises India Ltd. (part of the INR 243 billion Murugappa Group), launched its Online Travel Portal www.parryyatra.com on Friday.
The first Travel Services agency in Chennai to be approved by IATA (in 1948), Parry Travels has now expanded its suite of services to the netizens as well, through the comprehensive travel services portal www.parryyatra.com.
The portal was launched today by Arun Murugappan, Director of Parry Enterprises, and the first ticket was issued to Mr MM Murugappan, Vice Chairman of Murugappa Group and Chairman of Parry Enterprises India Ltd.
Speaking about the latest services for customer delight, Arun Murugappan said, “For over 6 decades now, Parry Travels has been engaged in offering a range of travel services, from airline ticketing, Passport and Visa services, Forex, Car rentals and Hotel Bookings, and also to the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) segment. With the promise of ease of usage and best deals, the new portalwww.parryyatra.com will add further convenience to the discerning traveler.”
Besides Travel Services, Parry Enterprises India Ltd is engaged in the manufacture of polymer meshes and packaged drinking water. The products are sold under the brand names Parry, Tuflex, Tufnet and Rakshak in India, UAE, East Africa and SAARC countries. It is also a leading player in the distribution of food ingredients.
