Deputy Director General (Planing) of Tourism Malaysia Dato Haji Azizan Noordin, Acting Director of Tourism Malaysia's International Promotion Division Zulkafil Yahya and New Delhi Director of Tourism Malaysia Amran Abdul Rahman were present at the press conference.
This festival will be continued in whole 2015. The mascot of this fest is Proboscis Monkey and the theme of this fest is "Endless Celebrations".
Dato Azizan said that in MYFest 2015 a year-long calender was packed with festivals of every genre like cultural festival, shopping extravanganzas, international acclaimed events, eco-tourism events, arts, music, food promotion and many more.
"India has always been an important market for us, the sixth top tourist generating market to the country," he added.
From Kolkata, this promotional campaign will move to Mumbai, Chennai and will conclude in Hyderabad.
