Goa Tourism participates in TTF Mumbai 2015
Panaji, Feb 16 (NITN): Goa Tourism show rolled into Mumbai in early February 2015. The event this time was TTF 2015 (Travel & Trade Fair), juxtaposed on this occasion with OTM (Outbound Travel Mart).

Hosted on the sprawling NSC grounds in the bustling Mumbai suburb of Goregaon, the fair attracted the travel trade as well as the general public.

The event was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, who later visited select stalls.

The Goa Tourism stall was amongst those, and it was appreciated by the Chief Minister.

In fact, the stall went on to win the ‘Best Decorated Stall’ award, which was presented to Goa Tourism officials by  Tourism Minister of Maharashtra Ram Shinde. Representing Goa Tourism on the occasion were Yogesh Naik (Marketing Manager) and  Bharat Chodankar (Asst. Manager), Angela Jasmine Fernandes (Asst. Tourist Officer),  Chitra Vengurlekar (Information Assistant).

On the first two days (4th and 5th Feb) the trade made its presence felt, while the concluding day saw consumers visiting in large numbers. The traffic to the Goa Tourism stall was high, and a lot of it was driven by concrete enquiries, which were knowledgably and collectively handled by the Goa Tourism officials and ten representatives from Goa’s travel and hospitality sectors.

Given Goa’s proximity to Mumbai, and its popularity as a holiday destination for the metropolis’ travelling public, the stall was truly at the right place and at the right time.
