The film is about the Mehra’s who celebrate their 30th anniversary along with their family and close friends on a cruise which is sailing across the Mediterranean Sea.
Riding on the film’s likability travel agencies and portals across India are designing cruise packages for customers. They have also been investing money in the marketing of these vacation packages.
The idea of a vacation on a cruise has struck a cord and there have been umpteenth inquiries and bookings which have been taking place since the film released.
There is a sudden influx of cruise packages being designed to Mauritius, Andaman, Sri Lanka, Hongkong etc
Says Ritesh Sidhwani "I was pleasantly surprised on learning that there are cruise packages being designed after the release of our film.”
In Dil Dhadakne Do the cruise rendered to the plot of the film. The cruise ensured the entire family got together and with little scope of escaping they got a chance to communicate and confronted each other.
