Mahesh Sharma chairs meeting of Hindi Advisory Committee of Ministry of Tourism

New Delhi, Sept 16 (NITN): The Minister of State for Culture (Independent Charge), Tourism (Independent Charge) and Civil Aviation, Mahesh Sharma on Wednesday chaired the meeting of Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Tourism at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that the Ministry of Tourism is giving importance to Hindi as much as possible and alot of official work of the Ministry is also being done in Hindi.
The Minister informed that the helpline number 1363 for tourists is functioning in Hindi & English.
Soon the Tourism ministry will introduce 12 more languages for the Helpline, Sharma explained.
Secretary Vinod Zutshi informed that Ministry of Tourism will also launch a magazine in Hindi with the name of “Atulya Bharat”.
The meeting attended was by Secretary of Tourism Ministry Vinod Zutshi, and Members of Parliament Ram Charitra Nishad, Shankar Bhai N Vegad, Tariq Anwar and other distinguished members of the committee along with senior officials of the Tourism Ministry.
