Mumbai’s CSIA: World’s Best Airport in select category

Hyderabad, Mar 2 (NITN) Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) has been rated as the Best Airport in the world in the 25-40 million passengers per year category by Airports Council International (ACI) in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards 2015.
The survey is conducted among passengers while they are travelling and the experience is fresh in their minds.
CSIA was inducted into the ACI Director General’s Roll of Excellence by ACI for having consistently delivered excellence in customer service for five years in a row.
The CSIA has won several prestigious awards over the past two years.
Commenting on this achievement, G V Sanjay Reddy, Managing Director of MIAL, said, “We started off with a vision to be among the best airports in the world, and the award is validation of the fact that our efforts towards establishing world-leading service quality are headed in the right direction. We have continuously upgraded our services to delight guests and offer best-in-class comfort and convenience. We promise to continue to serve you better in the years to come and delight you always.”
GVK Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd (MIAL) is a Public Private Partnership joint venture between GVK-led consortium and Airports Authority of India (AAI). GVK MIAL was awarded the mandate for operating and modernizing Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai (CSIA).
