Starwood Preferred Guest and Club ITC jointly offer a multi-benefit loyalty programme

Kolkata, Jun 14 (NITN): Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) -- the award-winning loyalty programme from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. -- and Club ITC -- a loyalty rewards programme by ITC Limited, announced, on Tuesday, a special collaborative loyalty benefit programme in India.
Under this joint initiative, Club ITC members who are SPG members or enroll in the SPG programme will be able to transfer their Club ITC Green Points to Starpoints, with a limit of 30,000 Starpoints annually. This will enable them to enjoy exclusive access to experiential holidays at over 1300 Starwood Hotels & Resorts worldwide.
On the other hand, Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) members residing in India will enjoy new redemption options including Wills Lifestyle and ITC Hotels dining certificates.
Commenting on the partnership, Dipak Haksar, Chief Executive, ITC Hotels & WelcomHotels said, “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Starwood Hotels &Resorts in India through the Club ITC & SPG collaboration. Members can now redeem their points for free nights across Starwood hotels worldwide and for curated experiences spanning holidays and fine dining at ITC Hotels & Wills Lifestyle fashion merchandise.”
This partnership comes on the heels of the recent announcement by ITC Limited and Starwood Hotels & Resorts to extend their long standing partnership for 12 ITC hotels under The Luxury Collection and Sheraton brands in India.
Further, both companies announced the opening of three new ITC hotels under The Luxury Collection brand in India.
The addition of the ITC Kohinoor in Hyderabad, ITC Narmada in Ahmedabad and ITC Royal Bengal in Kolkata will expand the ITC Luxury Collection footprint in India and enrich the overall proposition, over the next 4 years.
