Mumbai: The Taiwan Tourism Bureau (TTB) has partnered with the Mumbai Metro to expand awareness of Taiwan as a destination and to promote tourism in India.
Dr. Trust Lin, Director, Taiwan Tourism Bureau Office, Singapore, will be seen flagging off a Metro train wrapped in colourful campaign images which feature popular web-series stars, Sumeet Vyas and Sapna Pabbi on a vacation to Taiwan.
The flag off ceremony is scheduled to take place at 10 pm on August 11 at the Versova Metro Station.
This campaign is part of TTB’s continued efforts to raise awareness among Indian travellers and increase the number of Indian visitors to Taiwan. Underscoring the importance of India as a tourist market, over the past year, TTB has increased its marketing budget for India by six-fold, taking it to US$1.2 million annually.

Air India and Drukair, Royal Bhutan Airlines, have entered into an interline partnership to enhance travel convenience and strengthen network connectivity between India, Bhutan, and destinations beyond.
