Dubai: Dubai welcomes some brilliant shows, concerts and events each month and is all set to host the live performances.
Take a look at some of the live performances that will be hosted by Dubai.
Oct 16 to Nov 6: Phantom of the Opera at Dubai Opera
It’s regarded as one of the most popular musicals in the world, and this October The Phantom of the Opera is set to make its Dubai debut. Taking to the stage at Dubai Opera in Autumn of 2019, the show will run from Oct 16 until Nov 6.
The show, created by Andrew Lloyd Webber, will come to Dubai straight from London, and Dubai Opera will be the only location to host the iconic show in the GCC. Since it premiered as a musical in 1986, The Phantom of the Opera has been seen by 130 million people worldwide and amassed over 70 awards, so we can’t wait to see it arrive in Dubai.

Oct 18: Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan live
Indian singing maestros Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan are joining forces on one stage for the first time in Dubai at Legends Forever. This high-profile concert will see Bollywood’s biggest soundtracks come to life with their original singers, from Yagnik and Narayan’s ‘Bole Chudiyan’ to Sanu’s ‘Chura Ke Dil Mera’.
Each of these playback singers have established their place in India’s music industry, performed in multiple languages and lent their voice to some of the industry's biggest stars and films. Many of their songs are staple Bollywood classics with upbeat melodies and memorable lyrics loved by many generations. See them take over Sheikh Rashid Hall during this star-powered concert on 18 Oct.

Nov 1: The Kooks & Richard Ashcroft at Party in the Park
Brit rockers The Kooks will take to the stage on November 1 at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre as part of an epic line-up of Party in the Park acts. Having been a part of the music industry for over more than a decade, The Kooks have released smash hits including Naive, She Moves In Her Own Way and Bad Habit, and we can’t wait to see them perform all their top hits live in Dubai this November. Also joining the Friday line-up for Party in the Park 2019 is English singer-songwriter, Richard Ashcroft joined by his full band for the first time in the UAE, who’ll be taking festival goers through some Bittersweet Symphonies, performing a string of his releases both as a solo artist and as lead singer of Verve.

Dec 5 – Dec 7: Sole DXB 2019
The region’s largest cultural festival is returning for its eighth edition in December with a brand-new roll call of artists from around the world. Get ready for two days and three nights of Sole DXB, a celebration of everything from fashion and music to art and sport. This first-of-its-kind event started in 2010 as a humble block party and has grown into one of the city’s most popular cultural gatherings. It provides a platform for global talent, welcoming over 22,000 people. Last year’s festival saw performances by hip-hop heavyweights Nas, Roxanne Shanti, Giggs and more.

Dec 6: Kylie Minogue at Dubai Rugby Sevens
Australian-British pop sensation, Kylie Minogue, has been confirmed as the headline performer on December 6 at the Sevens Stadium as party of the Dubai Rugby Sevens 50th anniversary weekend. The Grammy Award-winning artist will have fans spinning around after the second day of the world-famous tournament. Expect to hear some of her biggest hits from the last 30 years, such as Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, On A Night Like This and Love At First Sight.
