Kolkata/NITN: Delhi-based global-cuisine restro-bar Warehouse Café has made its way to Kolkata, marking the brand’s entry into Eastern India.
A finest addition to the chain of First Fiddle Restaurants, Warehouse Café offers a relaxed atmosphere to unwind with no set rules.
With a height of 22 ft picturesque interiors, 30ft long bar, and live performances by proficient artists, the pub is set to offer the urban taste and lifestyle.
Vanita Bajoria and Mr. Amit Bajoria, who brought the Hard Rock Café and Lord of the Drinks franchises to Kolkata and now own their own Italian Restaurant, Veneto, will be the franchisees of Warehouse Café, Kolkata in South City Mall.
With the rock-like bar on the onset, the 4500 sq ft aesthetic area is adorned with sculptures of monkeys and birds, creating a peculiar dungeon-like atmosphere.
The bar is a warehouse fusion that has been glammed up so that Gen-Z can sip on their favourite drink, escaping in the world of all things vintage.
The sleek, long windows with huge doors reflect factory interiors, while the magnificent metal arched ceilings represent warehouse metal trusses.
With a capacity of 150, the interior design is amassed from raw warehouse elements to create a beautiful designer café with fancy chandeliers. The quirky wallpapers break the stereotype of an original warehouse and make it more appealing to today’s generation.
Warehouse Cafe’s diverse menu is curated to satisfy your palates. Everything from Middle Eastern cuisine to Italian and even Japanese dishes with an intention of upholding the brand’s ethos of providing a memorable dining experience. Every dish, whether Crystal
Dumpling, Tacos and Quesadillas, Pav Bun and Roll, Sizzlers, Pasta Bowl, Big Plate or Small Plates, is prepared with a contrivance of fresh ingredients aiming to take its patrons on a culinary thriller. Guests can begin with delectable appetisers from the Small Plates menu,
such as Lucy Cheesy Wonton, Truffle and Parmesan Fries, Kadai Paneer Nachos, Spring Rolls, and many more.
Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisines are rich in kebab delicacies, and some of the favourites are Harissa Kebab, Chicken Joojeh Kebab, and Kebab Platter. The Pasta Bowls of Penne Alfredo, Penne Pesto, Aglio Olio, Penne Arrabiata, and Spaghetti Carbonara are available, as are a variety of Pizzas, all are sure to leave the Italian lovers satiated.
Try the delectable flavours of Mexico in a hearty meal that includes rice layered with refried beans, tomato salsa, roasted corn, pepper salsa, red slaw, crunchy leaves, homemade guacamole, house pickle, and pumpkin seed. The bar menu features some of the most quintessential cocktails as well as some exquisite options.
Adding to the excitement of this launch, Vanita and Amit Bajoria says, "The all day concept of Warehouse Café is ideal for a quick lunch or dinner, weekend brunch for all age groups with an energetic nightlife for youngsters.
"The vibrant atmosphere, great food and drinks with global influences will enhance your dining experience. It’s enthralling to introduce a different kind of vibe to the city with contemporary dining experiences to the hospitality sector."
