New Delhi: United Airlines has announced an increase in service between New Delhi and New York/Newark, with a doubling of flights from once to twice daily during the winter season 2023/24.
In line with the existing year-round service, the additional flight will also be operated with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
With the addition of the second flight, United will offer more flights from India to the U.S. than any other U.S. airline during the winter season and is the only U.S. airline to operate the 787 Dreamliner from India.
United's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft features 48 all-aisle-access United PolarisSM business suites, 21 United Premium PlusSM, 39 Economy PlusSM and 149 Economy seats.
The revolutionary design of the Dreamliner offers customers many features for increased comfort, such as large windows, spacious overhead storage, and modern LED lighting to simulate a full day, helping passengers adjust their internal clock on the
transatlantic flight.
"Having served this important region for almost two decades, India continues to be an integral part of United’s global network and we are delighted to announce this additional daily flight from New Delhi, operated with 787 Dreamliner aircraft," said Harvinder Singh, Director Middle East and India, United Airlines.
"This increase in service will offer our valued customers in India even greater travel choice and flexibility, with the possibility to connect seamlessly via our New York/Newark hub to over 70 destinations across the Americas."
