Gurugram: Air India, a global airline in India, has initiated the deployment of its recently acquired Boeing 777 aircraft to serve all three non-stop routes from Mumbai to the United States.

The newly updgraded aircraft will serve New York JFK Airport, Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey, and San Francisco, guaranteeing that all North American locations that Air India serves from Mumbai now have contemporary seats and in-flight entertainment systems for all classes.

One of the two daily flights connecting Mumbai and London Heathrow (AI130/AI131) will now operate using the new B777 aircraft, providing passengers with modern-generation interiors, including the introduction of First Class cabins.

The B777-200LR aircraft operating on the routes to San Francisco and New York-JFK are configured with 28 Business Class seats, 48 Premium Economy seats, and 212 Economy Class seats.
